Baltic Birch
Our B/BB Baltic Birch is 2-sided plywood with veneer core. Baltic Birch is a natural product and on the B side of the sheet, which is the clear side, it may have small pin knots and have color variations on the face. On the BB side it may have 1-2 plugs commonly known as footballs as well as knots and different coloration.
Why Baltic Birch vs Domestic Birch? Baltic Birch’s core is unlike domestic plywood. The layers of inner layers are solid birch veneer, cross-banded, and laminated with a laser safe strong adhesive.
Raw MDF
Our Raw MDF is a medium density fiberboard. This MDF has 100% recycled/recovered wood content. This MDF is Raw without a slick Finish. MDF has a softer core. The laser cuts are clean and easily cuts like butter. It paints clean, depending on the paint, 2 coats are sufficient for coverage.
White/Black MDF
White and Black MDF have the same Raw MDF core. The color finish saves time and money in your production. This material has a matte texture finish to it. Due to the finish paint will not adhere unless you sand it down. It is perfect to paint the engraved area of a project because the paint will wipe off the finished surface.
Sublimination
The White MDF is perfect for Sublimination.
PLEASE NOTE – When sublimating on this product it will not be a bright gloss finish. It will be a more matte finish.
Sublimation Settings – Every heat press is different; we recommend starting at 365 degrees for 45 Seconds
